Every martial artist has witnessed it. A student trains for months, knows the techniques cold, and then under the pressure of a sparring match or a real confrontation, they simply stop moving. This phenomenon is not a failure of will. It is a deep, biological response wired into our nervous system. Understanding why it happens is the first step to overcoming it.
